Detectives of Supernatural (DOS) is an India-based paranormal investigation team founded in 2010 by Devraj Sanyal, with its headquarters in Kolkata.The team was established with the aim of investigating claims of paranormal activity and exploring unexplained phenomena through observation, research, documentation, and investigative methods. Over the years, Detectives of Supernatural has investigated reported hauntings, unusual experiences, mysterious locations, and other cases associated with the paranormal. The team combines field investigation with technology, environmental measurements, photography, audio and video documentation, historical research, and attempts to identify possible natural or psychological explanations for reported phenomena. Contemporary coverage has described DOS as a paranormal investigative group and has documented investigations involving locations in and around Kolkata. The team's philosophy is centered around “Rise Above Fear”—encouraging people to question unexplained experiences rather than simply fear them.
